This Unruly Mess I've Made is the second album by Macklemore and Ryan Lewis. The first album, The Heist, included huge hits such as Thrift Shop, Can't Hold Us and Same Love and was easily one of my favourite albums of 2012 (I still listen to Thrift Shop daily and it doesn't get old!). After a couple of years they then released This Unruly Mess I've Made in early 2016.

I was so excited to hear the album and had high expectations. I absolutely loved The Heist and I just wanted more of the same fun songs mixed with more real and hard hitting songs such as Same Love and wow this album does not disappoint.

You may have already heard Downtown from the second album, which was the first single released. I absolutely loved the style and it was such a great introduction for the second album. Other favourite songs of mine are Brad Pitt's Cousin, Dance Off (featuring Idris Elba!!) and White Privilege II which is so beautifully honest and is definitely one to sit back and listen to. 

My favourite song from the album is Let's Eat, which is all about food and the struggles of getting healthy, it's just a really fun song which makes you smile and one I think everyone can relate too.

I think this album is just fantastic and so easy to listen through, I recently saw them live and it was just brilliant, his rhythm and rhymes are just wonderfully wrote and I really enjoy this album.
