Dublin: Day 3
09:30
After a late night from my birthday we accidentally overslept a bit! So with a late breakfast down us, we decided to get a hop on/off bus tour as it seemed the easiest way to get to everywhere.
We originally wanted to check out Kilmainham Gaol but arrived 1 o'clock sort of time and the queues were long as it's a guided tour. So instead we decided to go back first thing the next day and instead spend the day around the Guinness storehouse.
The storehouse is a huge brewery/museum in Dublin dedicated to Guinness. The beer is still brewed there today and as you go up each level, you see the makings of Guinness and lastly get to pull your own pint! The pint pulling was my favourite part and I was actually quite good, however I tried to be clever and make my head go further over the top, then couldn't move it without spilling it!
My boyfriend's is on the right and he was really proud of his, and on the left you can see my accidental disaster. We then took our pints to the gravity bar, a bar on the very top of the museum with 360 views of Dublin. However, you have to get there extremely early to get full potential as we found it so hard to move for people!
It was surprising that we actually spent a full day there, so when we got back to the hotel we were shattered. We spent the rest of the night in the hotel bar and watching Eurovision!
Have you been the Guinness storehouse?
